Installing a water well to provide clean drinking water for 200 families in
a remote village. Sarah's Full Story
Al-Nour Village is a remote community of 200 families in rural Yemen who have been without access to clean drinking water for over two years. The nearest water source is a 3-hour walk away, forcing women and children to make dangerous daily journeys to collect water that is often contaminated. This project will install a deep water well with a solar-powered pump system, providing the entire community with access to clean, safe drinking water right in their village. The well will be equipped with a distribution system and storage tanks to ensure consistent water supply
throughout the year. Surgery Date Confirmed
